George Klein started training jiu jitsu in 2006 under Garth Spendiff, earning ranks up through purple belt under Professor Spendiff. George pursued his career as a physical therapist, which led him to Florida in 2014 where he trained under Clayton Lyon, who took over as his head instructor. In 2019, George received his black belt from Clayton and William Murphy (4th degree black belt under Marcio Simas and Sergio Penha). George moved to upstate New York in 2019 and continued training under a Renzo Gracie affiliation. He comes to Electric City with 17+ years of BJJ experience.
