The ECBJJ Academy is flourishing into a hub for learning, camaraderie, and personal growth.
In Japanese, Jiu-jitsu means "Gentle art." Jason's teaching philosophy encompasses the tradition of the gentle art as he emphasizes skillful technique over brute force. He believes jiu-jitsu to be a transformative journey that not only helps with physical fitness, but instills confidence, resilience, and self-awareness in practitioners. Jason encourages his students to be confident in themselves, overcome challenges, and strive for excellence both on and off the mat.
Jason remains deeply involved in the BJJ community. He regularly competes, attends seminars, and hosts seminars at ECBJJ. He strives to improve his skills as both an instructor and practitioner, constantly seeking new opportunities for growth and learning. Jason took 2nd place at the IBJJF World Championships.
